3月23日 桜のトンネルの下で民踊流しを楽しもう
March 23rd: Enjoy Japanese Folk-Dance performance through a tunnel of cherry blossoms
3月23日の午後、府中市が開催する市民さくら祭りのメインイベントのひとつ「民踊流し」に市内10ほどの団体と共に参加し、桜のトンネルの中を踊りながら１時間ほど行進します。服装は普段のカジュアルなもので大丈夫ですが、希望者は会場でゆかたを借りて踊ることもできます（無料）。
踊るのは日本の盆踊り曲3曲です。踊りは簡単ですが、3月15日にインストラクターが来て教えてくれます。
桜の花が舞い散るなかでのダンスを体験できるこの機会を見逃さず、急いで申し込んでください。
日本人学生も歓迎します。
On the afternoon of March 23rd, we will join in “the Japanese Folk Dance Marching'', one of the main events of the Sakura Festival held by Fuchu City, along with about 10 groups from Fuchu City, and march for about an hour while dancing through a tunnel of cherry blossoms. You can wear casual clothes that you normally wear. If you wish, you can rent a Yukata (a simple Japanese kimono) at the venue (free of charge). We will be dancing to three Japanese Bon dance songs. The dance is easy, but instructors will come and teach you in advance.
Don't miss this opportunity to experience dancing while cherry blossoms are falling, so hurry up and apply. Japanese students are also welcome.

早春の富士山麓を訪れ、日本の自然美、文化、歴史、日常生活を体験するユニークで中身の濃い3日間の旅行です。
富士山麓と駿河湾の間に位置する沼津市に行き、3日間「ふじのくに留学生支援の会」の会員の家庭あるいは寺院にホームステイして日本人の日常生活を体験します。高原、日本庭園、海上などからの富士山の絶景を堪能します。いろんな景勝地や史跡も見学します。富士山麓のハイキングもします。座禅、茶道、餅つきも体験できます。
このツアーは沼津市の「ふじのくに留学生支援の会」の方々が、東外大留学生のために特別に企画し、提供してくれるもので、参加費は3日間の宿泊費、食費、入場料、貸し切りバス代などすべて含めてわずか10,000円です。ただし、15名しか参加できません。
この機会を逃さず、急いで申し込んでください。
A unique and enriching 3-day trip to the foothills of Mt. Fuji in early spring to experience Japan's natural beauty, culture, history, and daily life.
You will go to Numazu City, located between the foot of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay, and spend three days staying at the home of members of the Fuji no Kuni ISSA or at a temple, experiencing the daily life of Japanese people. You will enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Fuji from the highland, offshore island and gardens. Visit various scenic spots and historical sites.
go hiking at the foot of Mt. Fuji. You can also experience zazen meditation, tea ceremony, and mochi pounding.
This tour is specially planned and provided by the Fuji no Kuni ISSA for the benefit of TUFS students. The participation fee is only 10,000 yen, which includes all accommodation, meals, entrance fees, and a chartered bus for the three days. However, only 15 Students can participate.

５ 参加方法
（１）希望者は、申し込みフォーム に必要事項を記入して送信する。

（２）2月6日の第1回説明会に出席し、旅行の説明を聞いて参加することを確定してから、参加費1万円を支払う。

（２）3月1日は、朝8時に自宅を出発する必要があります。

2月22日 深大寺ウォーキング
Let's walk to Jindaiji on February 22nd
深大寺まで1時間ほど歩き、伝統的な寺院や仏像を見学し、おいしい深大寺そばを食べ、さらに広い植物公園で梅や熱帯植物を鑑賞する半日ウォーキングです。英語の出来るガイドさんが案内してくれます。参加費は無料です。
This half-day walking tour includes a one-hour walk to Jindaiji Temple, a visit to a traditional temple and Buddhist statues, a taste of delicious soba noodles, and a visit to the botanical park to view plum trees and tropical plants. Two English-speaking guides will also accompany us. Participation fee is free.
あなたは深大寺を知っていますか？
東京外国語大学から徒歩1時間ほどでいける、歴史と自然を体験できる場所です。
733年に建立された、東京都で2番目に古い仏教寺院です。
関東地方で最古の国宝の仏像があります。
さまざまな色、サイズのダルマが売られています。
日本の代表的な麺料理である「そば」が有名で、多くのそば店があります。
寺の隣には広大な東京都立植物公園があり、今なら梅の花を楽しめます。

Do you know Jindaiji Temple?
It is a place where you can experience history and nature within an hour's walk from TUFS.
Founded in 733, it is the second oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo.
It is home to the oldest Buddhist statue in the Kanto region, designated as a national treasure.
Dharma dolls of various sizes are sold.
It is also famous for soba, a typical Japanese noodle dish, and is home to many soba restaurants.
Next to the temple is the spacious Tokyo Metropolitan Botanical Garden, where you can enjoy the plum blossoms now.

東京外国語大学留学生支援の会
早春の古都鎌倉を訪れ、その歴史、景観、味覚、自然を体験し、楽しむ日帰り旅行です。
鎌倉は12世紀末、日本で最初の武士政権の首都としてつくられました。19世紀まで続いた武士階級が支配する社会の政治や文化の基礎が形成された、代表的な歴史的都市です。海と山に囲まれた美しい自然景観に囲まれ、神社や寺院など多くの史跡と伝統的町並みがあります。
3月8日には、10時に鎌倉駅に集合し、以下のコースをまわって15時30分に解散します。参加者相互の交流を深めるため、小グループに分かれて行動します。グループごとにボランティアガイドさんが付きます。日本語でのガイドですが、英語でも対応できるガイドさんです。日本人学生の参加も歓迎します。
参加費は1,000円です。昼食代、拝観料などは支援の会が負担、鎌倉までの往復交通費約3,000円も半分以上補助します。

One day Visit Kamakura in early spring
on Friday, March 8!
Tokyo University of Foreign Studies International Student Support association(ISSA)
We offer a one-day trip to the old medieval city of Kamakura in early spring to experience and enjoy its history, urban landscape, taste, and beautiful nature.
Kamakura was established at the end of the 12th century as the capital of the first samurai government in Japan. It is a representative historical city in Japan where the political and cultural foundations of a society by the samurai class were formed that lasted until the 19th century. Surrounded by beautiful natural scenery of sea and mountains, the city has many historical sites such as shrines and temples, as well as traditional townscapes.
On March 8, participants will gather at Kamakura Station at 10:00 a.m., tour the following course, then disband at 3:30 p.m. Participants will be divided into small groups in order to deepen mutual exchange. Each group will be accompanied by a volunteer guide, who will provide explanations in Japanese, but can also speak English.
Participation fee is 1,000 yen. Lunch and admission fees will be covered by ISSA. ISSA will also subsidize more than half of the transportation cost to and from Kamakura Station (Approximately 3,000 yen).
Japanese students are also welcome to participate.
